About A Promise to Prevent

Promise to Prevent is a commitment to work together to prevent the abuse, neglect, and exploitation of individuals that are not always able to protect themselves, including elderly persons and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Promise to Prevent is an opportunity to join in this commitment to do what you can when you can to prevent abuse, neglect, and exploitation – and be an active reporter when you suspect abuse, neglect, and exploitation of individuals that are not able to protect themselves. It only takes a minute but has lasting effects for individuals that are not always able to protect themselves. Make a Promise today!

About the Founders

With a strong belief that within the heart of each community everyone deserves to feel safe, Founders Gina Judy, Ken Whelan, and Ann Monahan have worked tirelessly to develop an organization dedicated to growing the commitment of the community to eliminate abuse, neglect, and exploitation of individuals that may not always have the ability to protect themselves.
